About This Product

USA-L5 is a next-generation solvent removal device with no fear of bumping. This is for research to quantitatively measure the extent to which substances are separated and concentrated under various conditions. Of course, it can also be used as a replacement for rotary evaporators. It has the following characteristics: it does not boil, it can be concentrated at room temperature and pressure, there are no restrictions on the amount of liquid to be added, liquid can be added or removed at will, and it can be easily disassembled and cleaned. USA-L5 is based on the principle of “atomization separation”®. This is an innovative device that can separate the target substance and solvent when turning liquid into a mist (turning the liquid into micrometer-sized droplets). The key is not to vaporize (evaporate, volatilize, boil), but to create a mist. Since it does not require reduced pressure heating, "bumping", which is a weakness of rotary evaporators, does not occur. Like a rotary evaporator, USA-L5 can perform solvent removal (distillation), separation, dispersion, concentration, mixing, absorption, reaction, particle classification, etc. at room temperature and pressure. The USA-L5 is a standard machine for research use with various options available. You can try it out by renting it.
