■Sub-control pressure balance sampling
Headspace sampling using an electronically controlled pressure balance method allows sample introduction to the column without the use of gas-tight syringes, sample loops, or multiport valves. Pressurized headspace gas is precisely introduced into the GC by combining the vertical movement of a needle with horizontal holes in two locations (top and bottom) and carrier gas control.
■Overlap heating (simultaneous parallel heating of samples)
Overlap heating is a function that takes into account the GC analysis time of the sample and heats sample 2 and subsequent samples continuously (patented). This eliminates wasted sample incubation time and enables efficient analysis.
