About This Product

■ Increased gas pressure increases gas solubility, which can generate commercial benefits in both bacterial and cell culture applications. The BioXplorer P series can operate up to 10 bar and offers the following benefits:

・Increase in gas fermentation rate ・Improvement of gas transfer speed (beyond the limit of high KLa) ・Reproduction of pressure effects due to large-scale operations ・Reduced dependence on sparging/stirring on gas availability Each reactor provides highly controlled pressure regulation and monitoring in addition to the usual controls such as DO, pH, OD, and liquid dosing. A variety of features are included as standard to ensure operator safety.

■Features of P series

・Single (5000P) or multiple independently controlled bioreactors (100P,400P) A variety of stainless steel pressure vessels are available, rated up to 10 bar (145 psi), with fluid volumes starting from 20 ml. ・Automatic pressure monitoring and control of each bioreactor Highly equipped bioreactor with pressure rated probes, feeds and filters Option for complex automated gas delivery strategies with feedback to off-gas analysis system allows real-time response to changes in headspace gas composition ・High pressure sampling system for convenient sampling throughout the process - System that can handle temperatures from ambient to 225°C enables high temperature applications, Steam in Place (SIP) options, and some downstream processes that typically require dedicated chemical process development systems ・Complete safety functions
