About This Product

Ideal for fogging measurement of automobile interior materials. The FT-01 fogging tester is for evaluating the fogging characteristics of volatile components of decorative materials used in automobiles and aircraft (e.g. plastic products, polyurethane, textiles, leather, adhesives, nonwovens, thermoformable elastomers under high temperature conditions) It is designed to. It can also be used to test the fogging phenomenon of car high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps. ■Measurement principle

The pretreated specimen is heated in a beaker to evaporate volatile components. The volatile components condense on a cooled glass plate or aluminum foil in a cooling chamber. Once the condensation process is finished, remove the glass plate or aluminum foil. The fogging properties can be obtained by measuring the condensed component weight and haze value of a glass plate or aluminum foil and comparing it with the data before the condensation process.
