About This Product

■ApplicationsThis machine is used to measure the moisture permeability of packaging materials such as resin-treated paper and tarpaulin paper.

■How to usePlace calcium chloride in the cup, fit the bottom of the cup into the circular groove of the cup stand, and fit the guide into the stand as shown in the photo. Place the sample with its center approximately aligned with the inner edge of the cup, and place the sharp side of the ring on top of it. Insert the ring downward until it touches the sample along the guide. After placing a weight on the upper edge of the ring, remove the guide, being careful not to move any parts, and insert the ring into the groove of the cup over the sample. bottom Pour the melted paraffin evenly and evenly into every corner until it sticks to the (pointed part). Once the paraffin has solidified, remove the weight and ring to complete the sample installation.

Repeat this method to make a predetermined number of pieces, measure and record the weight of each piece. Next, this cup is placed in a constant temperature and humidity chamber maintained at 40°C and 90% relative humidity, and after being left for 24 hours, the weight is measured again using a chemical balance, and the increase in weight is determined as moisture permeability. (JIS Z-0208)
