■Summary
The SIDC-6000 series is a 1U rack-mount type RF tuner (down converter) that supports frequencies up to 26.5GHz. The downconverter's agile LO (local oscillator) employs a unique advanced frequency synthesizer architecture that combines a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) within a VCO-based PLL synthesizer.
This combination provides a 10Hz tuning frequency step size with low phase noise, low spurs, and fast tuning speed. The system provides scan and sweep frequency control modes.
Ideal for applications such as ELINT, radio and IARU monitoring, emissions compliance testing, direction finding (DF) systems, SATCOM, and radar warning receivers (RWR).
