■Summary
XChange3021 is a 3U OpenVPX type Ethernet protocol integrated switch board that supports both PCI Express and Ethernet. With integrated PCI Express and Ethernet switch functionality, the XChange3021 serves as the heart of board-to-board communication within high-end OpenVPX systems.
Additionally, external Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links provide connectivity between the OpenVPX system and external systems. The XChange3021 supports x4 Gen3 PCI Express links between up to 6 slots in the OpenVPX backplane, facilitating high-bandwidth memory-mapped communication between payload boards.
An optional x8 PCI Express link to the XMC site enables onboard I/O and protocol expansion.
