XPedite7683 is a 3U OpenVPX type CPU board equipped with Intel Xeon D-1500 family CPU and enhanced security. Supporting up to 16 Xeon class cores, up to 32GB of DDR4-2133 ECC SDRAM, and XMC sites, it is ideal for compute applications that require protection of large amounts of data and information.
The XPedite7683 integrates the Microsemi SmartFusion 2 security SoC's SecureCOTS technology, with custom features that prevent data from being modified or monitored, making it an ideal solution for applications requiring stringent security features. Circuit board enhancements and optimized 2-Level Maintenance (2LM) metalwork provide increased protection for physical hardware.
XPedite7683 provides network performance with two 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. Numerous I/O ports including USB, SATA, and RS-232/422/485 via backplane, plus up to 32GB of DDR4-2133 ECC SDRAM and up to 256GB of onboard SATA NAND flash on 2 channels mounted.
The XPedite7683 offers additional expansion capabilities with x8 PCIe connectivity to Intel Xeon D processors and an integrated XMC site that includes X12d I/O mapped directly to the VPX backplane connector. VxWorks and X-ES Enterprise Linux Board Support Package (BSP) "XEL" is supported.
