A flagship model for control rooms that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, this laser projector represents a major leap forward in reliability. With a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours in Eco mode, operators can continue operating the machine for approximately 11 and a half years.
All critical components are redundant (including power supplies, inputs, and drivers) to ensure no downtime. Unlike the phosphor wheel type used by laser projectors currently on the market, it uses an RGB direct laser method.
Each color is controlled individually and is not affected by the condition of the phosphor wheel, which not only solves short-life issues, but also eliminates situations such as color breakage.
■Automatic correction and alignment
The engine that controls the image processing and optical processing units of Barco's flagship laser projector is fully electric. Installers and maintenance personnel do not need to open individual modules to fully adjust the video wall's individual cubes.
Using the web interface, the video wall can be adjusted by a single technician, including remote keystone correction. This saves 50% of alignment and adjustment effort, making it much more efficient, more reliable, and less time consuming.
