About This Product
Maximator pipe fittings are designed for liquid and gas applications. P series fittings range from 1/4" to 1" NPT and can be used up to 105MPa/15,200psi.
NPT threads should be sealed using a high quality PTFE tape and/or paste product. Seal performance can vary based on many factors, including pressure, temperature, medium, thread quality, thread material, proper thread engagement, and proper use of thread sealants.
MAXIMATOR recommends limiting the number of times NPT fittings are assembled and disassembled. This is because the sealing quality deteriorates over time due to deformation of the thread during assembly.
