About This Product

■Summary

Technovit is the newest cold mounting resin that allows you to mount a large number of specimens in resin in an extremely short time with simple operations without the need for expensive mounting equipment or heating.

■Features

It is especially recommended for resin embedding in the following cases. 1) Items that should not be exposed to high temperatures or pressures. 2) Items that need to be quickly embedded and tested (e.g. for quality control during production) 3) Something with a unique shape. 4) It would be a problem if the embedded sample cracked due to stress during curing.

■Technovit 8100 for soft tissue embedding

This is an embedding resin that replaces paraffin in the field of biological soft tissue, which is conventionally embedded in paraffin and sliced ​​with a microtome. The polymerization curing temperature is 8100 (polymerization in refrigerator): 11℃. It is characterized by low temperature hardening and has excellent machinability. The 8100 is capable of performing immunological and histological examinations. (However, a cover form is required to prevent bubbles from forming before polymerization starts.)
