About This Product

■Summary

This is an innovative core extraction machine that can create a roundness that passes rock strength tests just by drilling with a special diamond bit. In addition to rocks, it can also collect strength test specimens of hard and brittle materials such as firebricks, glass, and ceramics. Since there is no need to shape the outer circumferential surface, it can significantly save labor and is used in many laboratories and work sites.

■Features

1) The spindle is continuously variable speed so that the rotation speed of the spindle can be selected according to the hardness (processing characteristics) of the rock/mineral and the diameter of the diamond bit. 2) The feeding speed of the diamond bit can be continuously variable according to the hardness of the rock. 3) Machining speed (descending speed) can be controlled in minute areas to prevent chipping. 4) Since we use a specially designed diamond bit (PAT.P), we can collect samples with a diameter difference of 0.05mm (according to JIS standards, a difference in inner diameter of 0.1mm or less). Conforms to rock strength test JIS M0301, 0302, 0303. 5) High-precision cores can be collected not only from rocks but also from concrete, refractory bricks, glass, and ceramics. 6) For samples where water cannot be used, dry collection is also possible. (Air cooling device and dust collection device are ordered separately) 7) Feed stroke is 300mm, and specimens with a height of 250mm can be set in a vise.

■Applications

1) Preparation of core specimens in accordance with JIS regulations for rock strength testing. 2) Core collection and disk collection for strength testing of concrete, fire bricks, glass, ceramics, etc. 3) Hole machining using drills and end mills. 4) End face shaping using cup wheel (optional) <Set example>
