■Summary
A water-resistant abrasive paper that does not contain silicon carbide (SiC) and uses alumina (Al₂O₃) abrasive grains. The highly hard alumina abrasive grains and water resistance provide excellent polishing effects and can be used for a wide range of polishing tasks such as metals and resins.
■Features
Alumina (Al₂O₃) has extremely high hardness and excellent machinability, making it possible to efficiently polish metals, resins, etc.
Since water can be used during polishing, it prevents clogging with shavings and polishing powder, maintains polishing efficiency, and cools the polishing surface to reduce polishing heat.
■Applications
Metal materials: polishing of metals such as steel, aluminum, copper, etc.
Electronic components: Polishing of semiconductor wafers, printed circuit boards, etc.
Materials Science: Polishing specimens for electron microscopy (SEM, TEM)
Geology: Polishing of rocks and minerals
