About This Product

■Summary

Improvements have been made to the doctor wrap to make it easier to polish samples that are considered difficult to polish, such as single crystal materials that are highly cleavable and break easily, soft metals that are soft and easily scratched, and samples that are difficult to maintain flatness. This is a small tabletop precision polishing machine with low circumferential speed.

■Features

1) The rotation speed of the lapping machine is kept low to reduce damage to the sample and enable polishing with fewer scratches and chips. 2) By rotating the lapping machine at low speed, the surface runout of the lapping machine and the vibration of the polishing jig are minimized, allowing for highly accurate polishing.

■Applications

1) No-scratch polishing of soft metal samples such as solder, pure copper, and pure aluminum. 2) Damage-free polishing of samples with high foldability such as gallium phosphide and gallium arsenide. 3) Polishing of hard-to-cut, large-area samples such as cemented carbide metals and zirconia (High load polishing possible) <Example of polishing combination>
