■Features
This is an all-blade type (no base metal) cutting whetstone manufactured by using white alundum (high-purity fused alumina) as the abrasive grains, synthetic resin as the binder, and firing at a low temperature. Because it uses an organic binder, it has greater elasticity and toughness than inorganic binders, and is highly safe. Furthermore, because the abrasive grains, binder, and pores are well-structured, there is almost no clogging, resulting in a sharp blade.
■Applications
Mainly suitable for cutting high toughness materials such as iron. High speed steel (SKH), tool steel Hedai steel, spring steel, alloy tool steel, malleable cast iron, etc.
