■Summary
Ceramicron cuts structural ceramics with eight multi-blade blades, while Mini Ceramicron cuts precision with a single blade. Additionally, processing conditions can be selected to prevent chipping and cracking during cutting.
The Mini Cera Micron Type 3 is a series that adds high speed and high functionality to the Mini Cera Micron in order to respond to the increasing sophistication of cutting techniques that accompany the diversification of research purposes.
■Features
The cutting feed speed (left and right servo motors) has been increased and a grinding function has been added.
1) The tip of the spindle is a taper nose type, and the shaft diameter is Φ60mm.
2) Manual handle type for cutting, automatic motor feed for grinding.
3) Adopts a high-speed servo motor for left and right feed.
Ideal for research and educational settings that are used infrequently, and for samples that are relatively easy to cut and grind.
4) Surface grinding work is possible by attaching a dedicated grinding jig.
■Applications
1) Multi-cutting of test pieces in accordance with JIS R1601/1607.
2) Multi-cutting of high temperature/structural ceramic parts.
3) Multi-cutting of specimens for interface inspection of composite materials (CFRP/CFRM).
4) Rough cutting of silicon ingot.
5) For cutting other materials such as hardened steel and stainless steel.
