About This Product

■Summary

This machine is a small, tabletop freehand type cutting machine that is often used in development sites, research institutes, schools, etc. It is suitable for standard cutting and trimming of samples, and by combining various blades, vises, and jigs, Can be used for a wide range of purposes.

■Features

Because it is small and lightweight, it is easy to transport and does not take up much space. The slide table (sample mounting plate) is equipped with an L-shaped guide (with scale) that determines the cutting width, making continuous cutting to a fixed size possible. Drainage uses an L-shaped inverted drain type with a water level, making it easy to drain cooling water and clean the inside of the water tank. A wide variety of options are available (double presser vise, slicing vise, slicing plate, slicing clamp, etc.).

■Applications

Cutting glass, ceramics, quartz tubes, bricks, rocks, minerals, and FRP. By using the thin-slicing clamp (optional), it is possible to cut the secondary surface of preparations for polarizing microscopes. <Set example>
