About This Product

■What is recycled PET?This is a product that achieves high quality while being environmentally friendly and aiming for a sustainable future. This PET is manufactured by combining "preform recycled materials" and "chemical recycled materials," achieving both effective use of resources and high safety. Due to its multilayer structure, the food contact surface uses chemically recycled PET, which has the same quality as virgin material, and the middle layer uses clean preform recycled material.

This allows us to provide safe, high-quality products while reducing environmental impact.

■Applicable lid material・96φ flat lid: Recycled PET (60% recycled)
・96φ dome lid: A-PET (petroleum-derived PET)
・96φ direct lid: A-PET (petroleum-derived PET)

■What is preform recycled material?Skeleton material at the start of PET bottle molding. By recycling these scraps, we are reducing waste and making effective use of resources. Preform recycled material cannot be used for food contact surfaces, so it is used for the middle layer.

■What is chemical recycling?This is a recycling method that chemically decomposes PET bottles and returns them to high-quality raw materials. The big advantage of chemical recycling is that dirt and odors can be completely removed through advanced processes, so the materials obtained through chemical recycling have the same quality as virgin materials and can even be used on food contact surfaces. . Chemical recycling is an important technology for efficiently using limited resources and reducing environmental impact.

This enables sustainable resource circulation and contributes to the manufacture of environmentally friendly products.

■What is recycled PET cup?An environmentally friendly PET cup that uses chemically recycled PET, which is treated as virgin material, for the front and back layers, and a middle layer that does not come in contact with food, which is composed of preform recycled PET + virgin PET, with a recycled material usage ratio of over 70%.

TOMEI E-FA (Eco-Friendly Approach) is a raw material that is more effective in reducing CO₂ emissions than conventional recycled PET.
