■Shift operation robot GSE 4.0

ATESTEO's GSE4.0 is a highly dynamic gearshift actuator shift robot for use on drivetrain and transmission test benches. High frequency control provides fully automatic gear shifting for the transmission. Depending on the system model, mechanical connections are made via the original gearshift cable or gear lever, and state-of-the-art interfaces (EtherCAT, CAN) allow seamless integration of the actuator into the test environment. Numerous safety features have been implemented to increase the overall safety of the test bench, and only robust industrial components are used to ensure high availability. We enable fail-safe operation on numerous test benches at ATESTEO and our customers around the world.

■GSE4.0Highline – Dynamic gear shift robot

Modern transmission testing challenges place increasingly high demands on gear shift actuators. A few years ago, it was enough to perform reliable gearshifts, but now the focus is on how to realistically simulate human gearshifting behavior. The GSE4.0Highline supports the entire gearshift range and is a highly dynamic gearshift actuator for use on drivetrain and transmission test benches. High-frequency control of force, position and speed enables fully automatic and realistic gear shifting for all types of vehicle transmissions.

■For powertrain component control

Actuators are devices that convert electrical signals into motion, making them ideal for automatic testing of manual transmissions. ATESTEO actuators are specifically designed for use on transmission, gearbox, drivetrain and powertrain test benches. Initially, the actuator was created for use on ATESTEO's own test benches, but has since evolved into a product that can be used within customer facilities. During this process, customer requirements were incorporated directly into the development process, allowing all actuators to be customized precisely to customer needs.
