About This Product

Komatsubara's "Sun Laster" is a high-pressure calender that uses a resin roll as an elastic roll. Compared to conventional elastic rolls, the resin roll does not easily conform to the mating heating roll, so it is necessary to apply pressure evenly. Generally speaking, when a roll is pressurized, a phenomenon called bending occurs, and it is well known that the linear pressure at the center of the roll width is smaller than at both ends. It has many superior features compared to conventional woolen paper rolls and elastic rolls using cotton rolls.

■Features

・There is no need to jump the roll even at cloth joints. Therefore, there is no loss of fabric due to this. There is no need for long-term rolling for break-in operation. As a result, operation starts up quickly after a test run or roll replacement. ・The number of roll polishing times is extremely reduced compared to the conventional method, greatly increasing the equipment operating rate. To give the same lustrous effect to the fabric, 30% less pressure than the conventional method is required, and the warp threads of the fabric are not cut. There are no such problems. ・Since cotton waste such as fluff does not adhere, there is no product failure due to this. ・It is durable against fabric seams and folds, and does not damage the surface of the roll, so the quality of the product is always stable.
