■What is a rotational viscometer for continuous monitoring of production processes?

AV-10 is a device that is installed directly in tanks during the production process and continuously monitors viscosity changes 24 hours a day. Its characteristic feature is that the rotating shaft is suspended in the air, just like a linear motor, so it is hard to break, and even if there is forced resistance to the shaft from the outside, the device will not be damaged. For example, the structure is such that it will not break even if a rotating shaft is forcibly stopped by hand. It can be used in a wide variety of fields such as the food industry, resin industry, and pharmaceutical industry. Features

■Detecting viscosity changes in-line in real time

Unlike conventional viscometers for research and development purposes, this device is capable of real-time viscosity control not only for research and development purposes but also during manufacturing processes. Since viscosity can be measured in real time, it contributes to stable manufacturing process management through control (PLC, etc.).

■Rotation mechanism that is hard to break

Unlike conventional rotational viscometers, the rotating mechanism has been devised so that it will not break even if resistance is applied to the rotating shaft. The structure is designed so that no load is applied to the drive torque even if the situation changes completely, such as a sudden change in viscosity. *We do not recommend using the product in a manner that will intentionally cause a shock. If there is solid matter in the sample, such as retort curry, the viscometer shaft may come into contact with the sample, but it is a durable mechanism that will not break even in such cases.

■Small, lightweight, low price & simple explosion-proof

Viscosity can be controlled discreetly but reliably at manufacturing sites as well as in research and development situations. It can be used as a simple explosion-proof device by injecting inert gas under positive pressure.

■Stable viscosity measurement up to max 30,000 cps is possible with this one unit.

Stable viscosity measurement up to 80,000 cps is possible with this single device (by changing the rotor, it is possible to measure viscosity from low to high viscosity). By using a cone rotor that matches the viscosity and material properties, anyone can use it easily.
