A cross rope made of the same vinylon fiber as the vinylon S3 rope, which has a reputation for being strong, durable, soft and easy to handle. Sometimes the fiber produced is Cremona yarn, so it is also called Cremona Cross 8 Rope.
A cross rope is made of two strands twisted together and is also called an 8-strand rope. This eliminates the kinks that often occur with triple-stroke ropes.
