■Background/Characteristics
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) will be used in many applications in the future, including autonomous driving, surveying, drones, and 3D scanners. This time, we are offering Development Kit 2, which is compatible with ROS2 and can be used for autonomous driving, 3D maps, and drones using LiDAR from Livox, a DJI affiliate company. With Livox's LiDAR, which has excellent cost performance, everyone from working adults to students can learn and develop technology.
This kit consists of Ubuntu 22, GPU, Livox LiDAR, and provides software and manuals. We provide software and apps that can be used for 3D maps (Lio-sam, Fast LIO ROS2, CloudCompare), autonomous driving (Autoware, Scenario Sim, AWSIM), and drones. We also provide many demos, so you can use it for a wide range of purposes, from basics to advanced applications. This is the ROS2 version of the LiDAR development kit sold in October 2022 (2024/8/16). It is a successor to the LiDAR development kit using Tfmini sold in August 2020, and is a full-fledged LiDAR development kit.
We provide a development kit that allows you to create 3D maps using Livox LiDAR using Jetson Nano (manufactured by Nvidia). All-in-one type, no software installation required, even beginners can use it right away. We also provide optional IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and GPS equipment necessary for 3D map creation (2023/3/14).
