About This Product

■Product overview

It consists of a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and a temperature/humidity sensor (BME280), and operates with a Python program. You can also notify groups by linking with Line via IFTTT. You can use it simply by connecting to the Internet via WiFi. You can freely set the notification time, day of the week, and interval.

■Background/Characteristics

There are 70,000 transports to hospitals each year due to heat stroke (126 fatal accidents). Most accidents occur among the elderly, construction sites, and outdoor activities at schools. Be especially careful in humid conditions. For beginners, we are now offering a development kit that regularly measures temperature and humidity and notifies Line of heat stroke warnings based on the heat index (WBGT). By visualizing the ever-changing environment and using Line's easy-to-use notification function, recipients can easily promote heatstroke prevention measures. I pray that the number of fatal accidents will be reduced even by just one. The Raspberry Pi OS has been updated to bullseye released in October 2021 (2022/1/31).
