■Product overview
Used in combination with thermosensors and previous AWS IoT development kits. Using AWS IoT Events, which became available in June 2019, an alarm email will be sent when the temperature exceeds the set temperature. Using the MQTT function, it is possible to monitor real-time sensor images remotely. It also provides CSV image playback.
■Background/Characteristics
IoT (Internet of Things) will become an essential initiative for future business, but until now, cloud temperature management has mainly relied on contact-type temperature sensors that measure room temperature, etc. Now, for the first time in a non-contact manner, we are offering an inexpensive thermosensor development kit that can measure the temperature of a specific object. This enables cloud-based temperature control during food transportation, temperature control during food manufacturing (bread, alcohol, tea), machine failure prediction (temperature measurement of rotating parts), human detection, etc.
■What is AWS IoT?
AWS IoT enables secure, two-way communication between internet-connected things (devices such as sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and smart home appliances) and the AWS Cloud. This allows you to collect, store, and analyze telemetry data from multiple things. AWS IoT event function was added in June 2019. This time I will use it for alarm mail.
