The home VPN device uses Raspberry Pi 3 model B, and is equipped with small, lightweight hardware that fits in the palm of your hand, and SoftEther VPN software developed by the University of Tsukuba. Also, since it occupies the home internet line, connection time and transmission speed are better than VPN apps. You can also save money by sharing it with your family. Connect multiple smartphones and PCs for free. No international roaming required, it pays for itself in one trip, and thereafter, it's free every month forever. Until now, many VPN devices have been introduced for business use, but this is the industry's first VPN device for home use.

■What is VPN?

VPN is an abbreviation for Virtual Private Network, and is said to be a virtual private line network. A technology that allows you to set up a VPN between specific locations or devices on the Internet and use it as if it were a dedicated line. There are various methods such as IP-VPN, SSL-VPN, and L2TP, which are used depending on the purpose.
