A cell balancer is a device that only has the cell balance function of BMS (battery management system). Without using an expensive BMS, it maintains the voltage balance of each cell at all times (during charging, discharging, and standing still) in a battery pack with two or more cells connected in series, preventing overcharging and overdischarging of the cells and increasing durability. This improves the performance and enables longer-term use.
