About This Product

All Aurora Microplates microplates are made of a high-performance plastic, cycloolefin polymer (COP). Compared to the commonly used polystyrene, they have lower autofluorescence, higher transparency, and superior flatness. These features allow you to capture clear images with a wide dynamic range in a shorter time.

■High transparency

Observability in a wide wavelength range is improved.

■Low autofluorescence

High signal/noise ratio, even weak signal intensities can be detected.

■Excellent flatness

- High plate flatness: The Z-axis adjustment time of the objective lens is shortened, reducing measurement time. ・High well bottom flatness: Enables imaging with a small number of Z-axis slices and suppresses the effects of light irradiation on cells. - Enables shooting in autofocus OFF mode. (Example: Cell counting after fluorescent staining, etc.) ・The number of cells detected with autofocus ON/OFF is almost the same in all wells.

■Clean materials

Contains almost no metals that may affect the culture medium.
