About This Product

Used to investigate pipes with many bends and gas pipes, and inspect inside pipes with a camera equipped with a spring wire.

■Product overview

The MT camera enables inspection of the inside surface of "small-diameter piping with many bends." The spring wire attached around the MT camera rotates, allowing it to pass through small diameter pipes with many bends and investigate the inside of the pipe. It is also possible to take pictures inside locations that cannot be reached with conventional in-service cameras. Due to its small size of 15 mm in diameter, it can also be used inside gas pipes. Photographs of corrosion inside gas pipes can be taken and used for maintenance inspections.

・Small diameter piping (25Φ~75Φ) ・Piping with many bends ・Investigation of pouring water In the case of piping of 40A or more, it may be difficult to pass when ascending from the bottom to the top. Depending on the depth of the water level, there is a risk of failure due to flooding.

■Product jointly developed by Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. and Nishiyama Co., Ltd.

・Developed a special cover called SSW (spring wire) for MT cameras. By rotating and pushing the SSW at the same time, the tip can cross steps and pass through curved sections. As a result, it can pass through the fitting. - Approximately 12m long MT camera covers long piping. You can work while checking the images on your tablet. The main unit is equipped with two batteries, so it can work for about 8 hours even without power.

■How to use when inspecting gas pipes

Control/Display ▶ Rotation insertion ▶ Live tube insertion ▶ Spiral spring wire ・Rotating insertion jig: Provides rotational force and propulsion force to the SSW at the same time. ・Water sealer: Used for live pipes (gas shutoff required).
