■Development history

In older buildings, the piping locations may differ from the drawings because there are no drawings or the drawings have not been updated. For this reason, we started developing a pipe exploration robot in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University in order to solve the problem of piping work, which can be done easily, becoming a major undertaking.

■Product overview

This is the world's first development of a robot that can run on its own inside Tees pipes with a diameter of 100 to 150 mm.It is equipped with a high-performance camera and gyro sensor to visualize aging pipes, and maps the travel route based on the measured data. You can. ``Piping-kun®'' Type I is useful for customers who are having trouble with piping problems.

■Technology 1 Self-propelled exploration inside pipes is possible.

The posture can be changed to suit the pipe diameter of 100 to 150Φ, and the inside of the pipe can be inspected while traveling on its own. It can also overcome steps as small as 5mm. *Maximum exploration distance 100m

■Technology 2 Capable of capturing video of the place you want to see

By changing the camera direction by changing the posture and rotating the aircraft, you can capture images of the area you want to see, up, down, left, and right. Because it is wheel-driven, you can shoot videos with less blur while driving. You can inspect the inside of the piping by yourself. It can also overcome steps as small as 5mm.

■Technology 3 It is possible to map driving routes in conjunction with images.

You can record video while driving, measure the pipe length, and map the travel route in conjunction with the video.
