About This Product

ABG (Active Belt Grinder) is an innovative solution that allows precise and flexible automation of surface finishing, mainly on small to medium-sized workpieces. We enable optimal custom solutions for applications such as small automotive casting parts such as fittings, frames, implants, door handles, etc. The floor standing unit can be easily integrated with the robot cell. We make it possible to automate processes that were previously difficult to automate, and at the same time build highly reproducible process automation that improves product quality, is highly reliable, and significantly reduces production costs.

■Passive safety and high-speed control

In addition to the robust mechanical design of the actuator and sensor element, the integration of passive safety and high-speed control achieves a high level of process reliability.

■Combination of force sensitive actuator & decoupled belt tension

A sophisticated combination of mechanical actuator/sensor elements, lightweight design, and decoupled belts ensures a high level of process reliability.

■Easy system integration and seamless quality control

Easy to use using standard interface. Contact status, stroke position, and pressing force are all constantly fed back, allowing seamless quality control.

■Maximize flexibility and adaptability

The pressing force can be set in the range from 10N to the maximum pressing force (250N, 500N, 800N) based on each request. Additionally, required characteristics can be set according to processing conditions and workpieces.
