Fluke Calibration DH400 Flexible Tubing is used in systems that require high pressure, flexible connections to facilitate frequent opening and closing operations, allow individual movement of components under pressure, and resist high frequency vibrations.
Flexible and lightweight tubing weighs only 16 g/m (0.5 oz/yd). It can handle operating pressures up to 6,000 psi (41 MPa) and is flexible with a 2.4 cm (15/16 in.) bend radius. At maximum working pressure. A burst pressure of 20,000 psi (138 MPa) provides a 3.3 margin for working pressure.
It is ozone and UV inert and compatible with a very wide range of liquid and gaseous media. Moisture absorption is negligible, making these tubes suitable for use in a variety of conditions and environments. There is no working pressure derating for temperatures between -34 °C and 100 °C (-30 °F to 212 °F).
■Summary
- Lightweight - The tube weighs only 16 g/m (0.5 oz/yd).
- Maximum operating pressure - up to 6 000 psi (41 MPa).
Flexibility - 2.4 cm (15/16 in.) bending radius at maximum working pressure.
- Temperature - No working pressure derating for temperatures between -34 and 100 °C (-30 and 212 °F).
- Weather - inert to ozone and UV rays
Safety - 20,000 psi (138 MPa) burst pressure with 3.3 margin over working pressure.
・Aging - Negligible moisture absorption
Growth - less than 5% of the total physical change at maximum working pressure
- Chemical resistance - compatible with a very wide range of liquid and gaseous media.
The length of each tube configuration is standard. Other non-standard lengths are available up to 90 m (300 ft).
