About This Product
The MFC Switchbox powers and switches up to five MFCs or MFMs on one molbox1+ or MFC-CB channel.
The MFC Switchbox is an accessory for the molbox1+ MFC option and MFC-CB mass flow control box. This accessory allows you to continuously power up to 5 MFCs and MFMs (DUTs) and switch their control over a single molbox1+ or MFC-CB channel.

The MFC Switchbox has an internal switch to switch between the five 25-pin MFC connection ports. molbox1+ and MFC-CB support Switchbox control, allowing you to change channels on an MFC switchbox using simple front panel menu selections or remote ASCII string commands.
The MFC Switchbox has its own power supply configured to simultaneously and continuously power all five connection ports. This allows you to test the MFC on one channel while another MFC is warming up. This feature is particularly useful for many types of MFCs that require extended and constant warm-up to operate within established specifications.
The MFC Switchbox supports split control in COMPASS for Flow software, which uses the MFC on one range to automatically control flow to a measurement DUT (such as an MFM) on another range. Connect the control MFC to channel 1 and the measurement DUT to another 4 channels. (Note: MFC Switchbox is intended for use with voltage-based MFCs. Only one current-based MFC can be connected at a time)
