■Laminar flow elements with flow rates from 1 sccm to 100 slm
molbloc-L is a laminar flow element for use with molbox mass flow terminals. The channel in a molbloc is a vertical annular groove formed between the piston of the molbloc body and the cylindrical hole that fits snugly into the piston. As the groove size changes, the molbloc range also changes. For high flow ranges (sizes 1E4 and above), large molbloc bodies with large cylindrical holes are used.

■molbloc-L range
The molbloc size is specified relative to the nominal flow impedance. When nitrogen gas is flowing through a molbloc with an absolute upstream pressure of 250 kPa (36 psia) and a differential pressure of 50 kPa (7.5 psid), the nominal impedance results in a nominal flow range. In practice, the molbloc flow range can differ significantly from the nominal flow range. The difference is due to differences in gas density and viscosity, as well as molbloc working pressure calibration options.
■ (N2 and other molbox1+ target gases to calibrate the molbloc used)
1E5 molbloc: ± 0.5% of reading (25-100% FS), ± 0.125% FS (below 25% FS)
