The 9009 industrial dual block calibrator can calibrate high and low temperatures simultaneously. Whether you think of it as being able to perform twice as many calibrations as before or cutting the calibration time in half, it will make it easier to perform temperature calibrations on-site.
Model 9009 has two temperature blocks, each independently controlled. The high temperature block handles temperatures from 50°C to 350°C, and the low temperature block handles a range from –15°C to 110°C. Each block is controlled by a Fluke Calibration precision temperature controller.
This controller is not an off-the-shelf controller installed. These controllers are from Fluke Calibration, a world leader in temperature measurement.
Each temperature block has two wells, each with a removable insert. Four two-well wells allow you to calibrate four probes at the same time, or use an external reference (such as Fluke Calibration's 1521 Thermometer) to calibrate two probes at the same time. You can. You can also easily check the transmitter's zero span using two wells.
It has excellent portability and durability. The 9009 is housed in a durable Pelican™ case that is water and airtight. It packs everything you need, including the power cord and 4 additional inserts, in a small package weighing just 4.5 kg. The insert can accommodate any size sensor from 1/16" (1.6 mm) to 7/16" (11.1 mm). A rugged calibrator that you can take anywhere.
