■Dry well with a large field of use despite its small size
The 914X Series Field Metrology Well is a thermal soaking block that maximizes portability, efficiency, and functionality without compromising performance as a temperature calibrator.
It is very easy to use and has excellent functionality. Although it is small and lightweight and takes a short time to reach the set temperature, it has excellent stability, uniformity, and accuracy. As an industrial temperature calibrator, it is ideal for transmitter loop calibration, comparative calibration of resistance thermometers, and simple checks of thermocouples.
With the “Process Calibration” option, there is no need to bring other process calibration tools to the field. This option displays measurements such as resistance, voltage, and current from 4-20 mA (with 24 V loop voltage supply) on a 2-channel display screen.
It also has a documentation function. Three models (9142, 9143, 9144) can be used in combination to cover a wide temperature range from -25 °C to 660 °C. Both models can be equipped with a “process calibration” option.
■High performance even in the field environment
The 914X series is designed for factory process control. It weighs less than 8.2 kg and occupies a small space, making it easy to carry. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach the set temperature for cooling to -25°C and heating to 660°C. On-site environmental conditions are typically unstable and subject to large temperature fluctuations.
All three metrology wells feature built-in thermal gradient compensation (patent pending) to ensure consistent performance even in unstable environments. In fact, the specifications of these products are compensated over a wide temperature range of 13 °C to 33 °C.
