Whether for temperature measurement or electrical applications, whether with an AC or DC bridge, these resistors outperform other AC/DC resistors. Fluke Calibration's Model 5430 series of six resistors range in resistance from 1 Ω to 10,000 Ω. The actual resistance of each resistor is within 10 ppm of its nominal value, keeping its resistance to within 2 ppm over a one-year period. All resistors come with Tinsley's certificate of AC performance and have a calibration uncertainty of 3 ppm with NPL traceability. Fluke Calibration can also optionally offer DC certification, NIST and NVLAP certification, and sub-1 ppm uncertainty resistors. Originally designed by National Labs, Tinsley resistors are double-wound to minimize induced resistance and oil-filled to minimize instability with both time and temperature. The AC/DC conversion error at 90 Hz is only 0.1 ppm. With oil resistor maintenance in mind, Fluke Calibration offers baths in capacities from 25 liters to 155 liters with enough internal shelf space to service all standard resistors. These baths will hold the resistor within 1 mK for short periods of time (30 to 60 minutes) and within 5 mK for several months.
