■Low cost and easy to use fixed point standard
- Smaller uncertainty than comparative calibration
- Compatible with all ITS-90 defined fixed points from water triple point to copper point
・Equipment costs and periodic calibration costs can be reduced.
The Fluke Calibration Mini Fixed Point Cell is a fixed point standard for standard laboratories that excels in design, cost, and ease of use.
Comparative calibration is not necessary with the Mini Cell. The temperature of a fixed point cell is a constant temperature specific to that cell, so only the electrical parameters of the configured temperature probe need to be read.
If you want to calibrate your industrial thermometers, thermocouples, or thermistors as accurately as possible, these mini cells are for you. When a wide temperature range is required, the Mini Cell covers the triple point of water and all ITS-90 defined fixed points from indium (156.5985 °C) to copper (1084.62 °C).
■Simplify calibration work with fixed point cells
With mini cells, a fixed point can be easily achieved and maintained. For mini TPW cells, simply inserting them into the 9210 maintenance device will automatically achieve and maintain the triple point of water. It takes only 5 minutes to reach the triple point of water, and the stable state remains throughout the day.
Similarly, the establishment and maintenance of fixed points for indium, tin, zinc and aluminum can be automated with the 9260 Mini Cell Maintenance Equipment. In addition to the freezing point, it is also possible to realize the melting point, and the melting point is easier to calibrate. As a reference, Hart has published a paper entitled "The Comparison Between the Freezing Point and Melting Point of Tin."
These mini cells are manufactured using the same materials and methods as regular size fixed point cells. In fact, mini-cells can achieve nearly the same level of uncertainty as Hart's traditional fixed-point cells. The probe used is only 229 mm. The specification table lists the insertion length and uncertainty for each cell.
