The 5686 is a high quality standard platinum resistance thermometer. High-purity platinum wire is manually wrapped around the glass support, making it strain-free. The glass capsule is designed to match the expansion of the platinum wire with temperature, ensuring a perfect seal at all operating temperatures. The capsule is pressure sealed. This product is supplied in a protective maple wooden case.
