About This Product

■If you need a small standard platinum resistance thermometer

・Temperature range: –260 ℃ (13 K) to 232 ℃ ・Stability: Typical value 0.001 ℃ up to 100 ℃ ・Small capsule eliminates the effect of stem heat conduction Depending on the application, standard platinum resistance thermometers may be too long or difficult to use. That's why Fluke Calibration offers two types of compact glass capsule standard platinum resistance thermometers. Ideal for measurements and research involving cryogenic temperatures, calorimetry, and other temperature standards that require a small standard platinum resistance thermometer. The 5686 is a high quality standard platinum resistance thermometer. High-purity platinum wire is manually wrapped around the glass support, making it strain-free. The glass capsule is designed to match the expansion of the platinum wire with temperature, ensuring a perfect seal at all operating temperatures. The capsule is pressure sealed. This product is supplied in a protective maple wooden case.
