The Fluke Calibration 96040A RF Reference Signal Generator allows you to simplify your RF calibration system by replacing much of the equipment and accessories that make up your current system. Due to its accurate signal level and attenuation, high signal purity and accuracy, and low modulation distortion, this signal generator is often used to calibrate spectrum analyzers, modulators, RF power sensors, attenuators, and other equipment. It has higher performance than general-purpose signal generators. The phase noise performance is also excellent due to the low phase noise.
Unlike many RF calibration solutions, the 96040A is specifically designed for RF calibration and has a calibration-friendly user interface that is easy to learn and operate. The 96040A speeds up the calibration procedure, reduces the chance of operator error, and greatly simplifies RF measurements. As the core of an RF and microwave calibration system, the 96040A covers most of the test points needed to calibrate spectrum analyzers in any frequency band.
