■New gold standard in electrical calibration
Since its release in 1988, the 5700A series has been used as the standard multifunction calibrator in calibration laboratories around the world. This best-in-class calibrator is now even easier to use with the latest technology and usability features.
Fluke Calibration's high-performance multifunction calibrator 5730A is the new "gold standard" for multifunction calibrators, the result of years of development, research, and design.
■High performance
Like its predecessor, the 5730A can calibrate a wide range of instruments, from 8.5-digit digital multimeters to RF voltmeters (wideband option required). Specifications are better than previous models, with improved calibration uncertainty ratio (TUR) and reliability. Additionally, the need for guard bands is reduced, allowing you to perform reliable calibrations with peace of mind.
■Features
・Improved specifications for AC voltage, AC current, and resistance
・6.5-inch VGA display, full-color touchscreen, graphical user interface
・Visual connection management function
・Graphical user interface supports 9 languages
・Compatible with amplifiers 52120A and 5725A
・Fully compatible with MET/CAL® 5700A/5720A procedures
・Artifact calibration using external standards of 10 V, 1 Ω, 10 kΩ
■Definition of absolute uncertainty
Uncertainty specifications for the 5730A include stability, temperature coefficient, linearity, line and load regulation, and traceability of external standards used for calibration. No additional uncertainties are necessary to determine the total uncertainty of the calibrator over the stated temperature range.
