About This Product

■Compatible with the most stringent traceability requirements

The 792A is an ultra-high accuracy AC/DC thermal transfer standard designed to meet the most demanding AC measurement demands. Fluke's patented RMS sensor and thin-film range resistor provide superior transfer accuracy with a total uncertainty of ±10 ppm (±5 ppm from National Institute of Standards and Technology; NIST). The 792A has a voltage range of 2 mV to 1,000 V and a frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz. Semiconductor RMS provides high temperature stability and short settling time. Measurements can be started in 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes. To simplify the transfer process, a digital multimeter can be used instead of a null meter with a 2 V output. The 792A can calibrate the most accurate instruments in the standards room, such as calibrators such as the Fluke 5700A/5720A, voltmeters such as the Fluke 8506 and HP 3458A, and standards such as the Fluke 5790A. 792A consists of four units. The transfer unit is the main analog part of the 792A and covers the 20 mV to 220 V range. Stainless steel N-type connector reduces signal loss and ensures high measurement reproducibility. The power pack unit is independent so the transfer unit and 1000 V range resistor can be sent for calibration separately. The 1000 V range resistor isolates heat generated by high voltages outside the transfer unit. The range resistance has a small temperature coefficient, stabilizes in a short time, and has a small AC/DC difference. You can switch between AC and DC input with the transfer switch. All 792A products are guaranteed to be traceable to national standards. Also included is a table of correction factors and uncertainties for the measured AC/DC difference. Can be used with A40 and A40A for current transfer measurements, but requires a separate 792A-7004 adapter. *This product does not comply with the revised RoHS Directive (RoHS2).
