About This Product

Corrosive environment test (salt water) unit dedicated to the 4-unit rotary bending fatigue tester GIGA QUAD® YRB200. By using this test unit, it is possible to easily and efficiently perform rotating bending fatigue tests in corrosive environments. It is possible to perform corrosion fatigue tests using various corrosive liquids such as water, artificial seawater, and scientific chemicals. 4 features

■Preventing corrosion of test equipment

A corrosive environment is recreated by dropping a corrosive liquid (such as salt water) onto the test piece. The waste liquid after dripping is always absorbed, and the special double structure of the corrosive environment tank prevents the corrosive liquid from flowing out of the tank even after the test piece breaks. Therefore, no corrosion of the fatigue testing machine itself occurs.

■Easy to install

This test unit is easy to install and offers great convenience.

■Dripping speed can be adjusted

The dripping speed of corrosive liquid (salt) can be adjusted in 25 steps. You can perform experiments at the optimal dropping speed according to the test content.

■Fatigue tests using acidic liquids can also be conducted.

In response to a customer's feedback, ``We have developed a new biomaterial and are planning to use it in artificial joints and bone plates in the future, but we would like to evaluate it in advance, and in particular, we would like to conduct a fatigue test in a strong acid environment and collect data.'' ” was requested. In this case, we successfully conducted a fatigue test using lactic acid using the corrosion option of GIGA QUAD®. By using acid-resistant materials for tubes, corrosive soda, etc., it is possible to prevent corrosion and liquid leakage even when using highly dangerous chemicals.
