About This Product

This is a medical device that reduces the burden on patients and medical staff because the incision site is smaller than conventional ones. This product was developed jointly with the Department of Orthopedics, Nara Medical University.

■Features

This is a medical device that enables surgery for stenotic tendon sheaths (responsive fingers and spring fingers) using images obtained from an ultrasound diagnostic device with an incision length that is approximately 1/10th that of conventional methods. Since the surgery can be performed with a very small skin incision, it does not require stitches and has the advantage of allowing you to return to your normal life within a few days after surgery. There are almost no surgical scars left. In addition, since surgery is performed with this product while guiding (double guiding) above and below the surgical site (tendon sheath), damage to areas other than the surgical site can be prevented. We have performed more than 500 surgeries since 2014 and have achieved stable results. In addition, costs can be kept low because inexpensive injection needles can be used without the need for special incision instruments.

■Number of days until gauze can be removed

■Specifications

It is designed with the assumption that the surgery will be performed while being confirmed using an ultrasound diagnostic device. The main body and holder are made of titanium alloy, and the disector and sheath guard are made of stainless steel.
