About This Product

Crobit is a world-patented product manufactured by combining our precision prisms. It is widely used as an innovative technology in the fields of image inspection equipment and laser marking. Using the optical path length correction function of the glass, it is possible to focus on multiple surfaces simultaneously for imaging and laser marking. ■It is possible to photograph the upper and lower surfaces of the workpiece at the same time.

The upper and lower 2-sided Crovit allows you to simultaneously focus and image the top and bottom surfaces of a workpiece.

■Application example of upper and lower 2-sided Crovit

A camera is installed on the top surface of the hoop material, and the camera can image the top and bottom surfaces of the workpiece at the same time. It is also used to inspect the top and bottom surfaces of ICs, housing packages, and connectors. Difference between "right angle prism" and "crovit"

■Use a right-angle prism to focus on the front and back separately and take two shots

The focal length on the back side is farther than the focal length on the front side, as shown in the diagram on the left. Therefore, the front and back sides are focused separately and photographed in two separate shots.

■Photograph both the front and back sides at the same time with one camera using Crovit

By inserting a glass to correct the optical path length on the side with the far focal length (back side of the workpiece), the focal lengths of the front and back sides can be made the same. The magnification of the front and back sides is also the same.
