About This Product
■Aluminum screws
The characteristics of aluminum (alloy) are: 1. Light weight (approximately 1/3 times that of steel or stainless steel), 2. Coloring and corrosion resistance can be controlled by alumite, 3. High thermal conductivity (approximately 3 times that of steel), etc. can be mentioned. In general, contact between dissimilar metals can lead to galvanic corrosion (rust) and should be avoided. By using aluminum screws for aluminum products, it is expected to not only prevent electrolytic corrosion, but also prevent destruction due to differences in thermal expansion coefficients, and shorten the reuse/disposal process.
Azuma Neji's ``aluminum screw series'' includes not only bolts (with hexagonal sockets and ultra-low head), but also nuts and washers. Please use it for products that pursue lighter weight, better design, and space saving, such as robots such as drones and welfare equipment.
■Alumite
We also accept alumite for this series of products. Alumite is a process that creates an anodized film on the aluminum surface, and is a different surface treatment from plating. Alumite has the effect of hardening the surface and improving durability. In addition, by adding dye, it is possible to create a color that does not fade easily.
