■PrincipleRefrigerant lubricating oil is added to the refrigerant. Refrigerant lubricating oils are exposed to severe heat cycles, and as oxidation progresses, the molecular groups become large, which has a negative effect on refrigerant lubrication. Solvated electrons act on this refrigerant lubricant to reduce oxidation and subdivide the macromolecular population to smooth the lubrication of the refrigerant, increasing thermal conductivity.
