Features
■Computer automatic shutdown functionAutomatically shuts down the computer in the event of a power failure such as a power outage. Shutdown can be performed not only in the event of a power failure, but also in the event of a major failure, overload, or serial communication abnormality. It supports environments where different operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, and Linux coexist, and can shut down up to 50 machines.

For UNIX, Linux, and FreeBSD, you can also perform a Telnet login and control the shutdown. You can execute user-specified commands before shutting down the OS. You can automatically save and close documents of running applications.

■Automatic startup of UPS when power is restoredA UPS that automatically stopped during a power outage can be automatically started when the power is restored. If you have set the UPS to start automatically when the power is restored, you can set it so that it will not start automatically until a pre-specified battery charge rate is reached. (depending on model)

Automatic startup of the computer when UPS power supply starts depends on the specifications of the computer. If your computer does not start up when the main power is supplied, you can turn on the computer using the Wake On LAN function or ring signal.

■Scheduled operation functionYou can schedule UPS output ON/OFF once a day (when it is OFF, the computer will automatically shut down).

■Status monitoringYou can check the input/output power status, battery status, etc. in real time. UPS status can be recorded and displayed as a history when events such as power outages occur and at regular intervals. You can check the UPS status and change settings remotely using a web browser* or Telnet terminal.
*Run using Java Web Start or Java applet.

You can receive e-mail notifications of UPS status changes due to power outages, battery replacement notices, serious failure alarms, and battery test results. You can obtain the UPS status by sending a request email. You can run a sound file when displaying a message screen such as when a power outage occurs. (Windows version only)
