About This Product

■High copper rust prevention and adsorption properties

■ Highly biodegradable

■Applications

Pharmaceutical intermediates (antiviral agents, ATP preparations), blood preservatives, nucleic acid seasoning media, photographic agents, copper rust inhibitors (BTA substitute)

■General physical properties

Molecular weight: 153.13, appearance: white or slightly yellow powder, freezing point (melting point): 360-365°C

■Solubility

Slightly soluble in water (slightly soluble in cold water, easily soluble in hot water), easily soluble in acids and alkalis.

■Biological essential components

One of the five main types of bases that make up nucleic acids, it is an organic compound that is widely distributed in living organisms and is useful as a raw material for pharmaceuticals.

■High copper rust prevention and adsorption properties

Useful as a corrosion inhibiting additive for copper wiring. Adenine has excellent adsorption and hydrophilic properties on the copper surface, and may be as effective in inhibiting copper corrosion as BTA.

■Highly biodegradable

For example, adenine has shown high degradability in a biodegradability test based on the method described in the "Law Concerning Regulations for Examination and Manufacturing of Chemical Substances.
