One of the major features of the height gauge is that steel is attached to the base reference surface. The base surface has high wear resistance, so you can use it with confidence.

■Can be set to 0 at any position. (Digital height gauge)

The third major feature of the height gauge is that it can be set to 0 at any position. This is a feature found in digital height gauges. A height gauge is a measuring device that performs measurements on a surface plate. Therefore, the surface plate is usually set as the zero point before measuring the height of the workpiece. Since digital height gauges can be set to 0 at any position, it is possible to use surfaces other than the surface plate as a reference surface, making height measurements using height gauges more flexible.
